DAY 1
Welcome at the port or airport of Tangier and departure southbound, crossing the Rif Mountains and the white city of Tetouan. Arrival in Chefchaouen, known as the “Blue Pearl”, where houses, streets, and doors are painted in countless shades of blue. Founded by Andalusian exiles and Berber tribes, the city retains a tranquil, mystical atmosphere. Stroll through the medina, visit Outa-el-Hammam Square, the Tarik-Ben-Ziad Mosque with its octagonal minaret, and the kasbah. The modern part of the city lies lower down. Dinner on your own. ????️ Overnight in riad/hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast, departure for Meknès, the former capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit Bab Mansour Gate, El-Hedim Square, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and Dar El Ma Palace. Nicknamed “The Versailles of Morocco”, Meknès charms visitors with its gardens, historic palaces, and authentic souks. In the afternoon, the journey continues toward Midelt, crossing the Atlas Mountains and cedar forests. ????️ Dinner and overnight in riad/hotel.
DAY 3
After breakfast, head south through the spectacular Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves, Berber villages, and rocky canyons. Stop at Erfoud, famous for its marine fossils and artisan workshops. Continue to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara, located at the foot of the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Free time to relax and prepare for the desert experience. ????️ Dinner and overnight in riad/hotel.
DAY 4
After breakfast, embark on a 4×4 desert exploration. Visit nomadic families living at the dune edges, then stop at Khamlia village for a live Gnawa music performance. Visit the old mines of Mifiss and return to Merzouga in the afternoon. At sunset, ride a camel across the dunes to reach a Berber camp. Traditional dinner under the stars and an evening with Berber music around the campfire. ????️ Overnight in haima tent in the desert.
DAY 5
Early wake-up for the sunrise spectacle over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp and camel ride back to Merzouga. Departure for Fès, retracing the Ziz Valley. Stop in Azrou among the cedar forests, home to the playful Barbary macaques. Continue to Fès, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Arrival in the evening. ????️ Dinner and overnight in riad/hotel.
DAY 6
After breakfast, departure from Fès heading to Tangier, crossing the landscapes of northern Morocco. Arrival at the port or airport and end of our services.
