DAY 1

Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast, departure from Casablanca towards Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Modern yet regal, Rabat blends history with colonial architecture. Highlights include the Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, final resting place of King Hassan II and Prince Moulay Abdallah. Stroll through Rabat’s historic medina, with its cobbled alleys, local crafts, and art galleries. Free dinner and overnight in a riad.

DAY 2

Rabat – Volubilis – Meknès – Fès

Morning departure for Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman site in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a walk among its ancient columns and mosaics, continue to Meknès, an imperial city founded by Sultan Moulay Ismail. Known for its compact medina, historical palaces, Jewish quarter, and authentic souks, Meknès is also called the “Versailles of Morocco.” Evening arrival in Fès. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

DAY 3

Guided Tour of Fès

A full day dedicated to exploring Fès, the cultural heart of Morocco. With a licensed guide, visit the medieval Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Karaouine Mosque, Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. Admire the traditional tanneries, a pottery workshop, and enjoy panoramic views from the Merenid Tombs. Explore the Ville Nouvelle and the Imperial City. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

DAY 4

Fès – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, head south crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at Ifrane, the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” and Azrou, known for its cedar forest inhabited by Barbary macaques. Journey through the lush Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and rocky canyons. Arrive in the afternoon at Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi Desert. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

DAY 5

Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Khamlia – Desert Camp

A full day exploring the Sahara Desert. Visit a nomad family, the African village of Khamlia with live Gnawa music, and the Mifiss mines. Return to Merzouga and prepare for a camel trek into the dunes at sunset. At the Berber camp, enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars with live local music. Overnight in a haima tent in the desert.

DAY 6

Merzouga – Rissani – Dadès Valley – Ouarzazate

After breakfast and camel ride back to the village, visit Rissani and its authentic Berber market. The journey continues along the Rose Valley, famed for its damask roses, and the Dadès Valley, known for its spectacular gorges. Cross the lush Draa Valley, an oasis of palm groves and kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate, home to the famous Atlas Studios. Free visit and overnight in a riad.

DAY 7

Ouarzazate – Ait-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the legendary Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous movie set for films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, passing through breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Free dinner and overnight in a riad.

DAY 8

Guided Tour of Marrakech

Discover vibrant Marrakech, known as the “Pearl of the South,” with an official guide. Explore the Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the iconic Koutoubia Mosque. Stroll through the serene Menara Gardens and the lush Majorelle Gardens, with the option to visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Enjoy free time for lunch at Jemaa el-Fna Square, the lively heart of Marrakech filled with musicians, snake charmers, and street vendors. Free dinner and overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 9

Marrakech – Casablanca

After breakfast, departure for Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Drive through the modern districts like the Nouvelle Ville, built by the French, with tree-lined avenues, boutiques, and cafés. Visit the monumental Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, partially built over the Atlantic Ocean. Arrival at your hotel and end of the tour.
